Dundee is a modern and vibrant city set at the mouth of the River Tay. It has a wide range of accommodation options, from budget to more expensive options. Dundee is likely the most accessible and convenient option!

St. Andrews is a historic University seaside town, also boasts to be the "home of golf" if you're into that sort of thing. It's picturesque but smalller than Dundee, resulting in slightly higher accommodation prices.

There are many BnB options around the Fife area - though these are not as well serviced as some of the larger cities.

Edinburgh is neither close, nor cheap but it is really gorgeous and we think it's pretty ace (not that we're biased living there ;) )

As the most connected hub, we thought we'd include the information for it, coming from Edinburgh involves more logistics but it is still possible!

Taking a train from Edinburgh to either Leuchars or Dundee station, then taxiing to the venue is possible. However the  trains stop before midnight, so would advise planning ahead with TrainLine to make sure you don't get caught out!
